Joy in the Journey

It’s hard to believe that the 2019 National Junior
Limousin Show & Congress is a few short weeks
away! Entries have been submitted, cattle are in
the barn and many hours of washing, blowing,
brushing and clipping are already behind you.
Goals have been set and often we dream of making
this junior national show the one for the record
books. Certainly, goals are important and are a
powerful tool to keep us moving forward. However,
sometimes we can get so caught up in the mindset
that we will only be happy when we reach our
goals that we forget to find joy in the journey.
Remember that often the work is the reward
and the prize is what we learn in the process.
Remember we can choose to be grateful in
the grind. As you get ready to make the trip
to Springfield this summer, remember to live
in the moment and enjoy every part of your
journey. We can hardly wait to see you! I
