Corner Post Raises Money for
Limousin Youth
Thank you to all those who participated in the
2018 Corner Post Package. Lonely Valley graciously
donated the 2018 Corner Post heifer. The buyer
of this year’s Corner Post heifer will get to choose
from over 100 head of the Lonely Valley 2017
spring born heifers from their Kansas location at
Plainville. Genetics include: LVLS Bank Account,
WZRK Atlas, MAGS X-Wet, MAGS Zarah, MAGS
Unreal, AHCC Badlands, and numerous others.
The 2018 Corner Post heifer was purchased
by Kevin Smith of KLS Farms, Chatham, La. All
$32,675 of the proceeds from the package
benefit the Corner Post fund, which facilitates
additional activities and scholarships for members
of the North American Junior Association.
The NALJA Board would like to thank Lonely
Valley Seedstock/LV Bar for donating the pick of
their 2017 Spring born females and Kevin Smith
with KLS Farms for purchasing the lot at the
2018 Genetics on Ice Auction. A huge thank you
to all the syndicate donors for helping to make
this our most successful fundraiser to date! I
