Recording/Registering Calves
Recording and registering your calves just got a
whole lot easier. With the help from DigitalBeef you
are now able to see and track the exact number
of calves added to your herd with just a few clicks.
When you are recording your calves you will also
have the option to fully register them; you do not
have to register your calves but they will be recorded
as ‘performance only’ if not registered. Registering
can be done at any time, which allows you to record
now and register later.
Recording/Registering calves:
• Go to the “herd management” tab in the work
menu.
• Click the “recording” red arrow.
• You have different options on what to record,
click “calves.”
• You will then be asked how many calves you
want to record.
• After you enter the number of calves, you will be
directed to the birth data entry screen where you
will enter all the information on each calf.
