About NALF

The North American Limousin Foundation is excited to welcome Nathan Smith , Pratt , Kan ., to the team as a regional manager for the territory of the eastern United States and Canada . Nathan will play a significant role in assisting NALF members and commercial producers in identifying herd goals , learning new programs and services , and growing their businesses .

As a regional manager , Nathan will represent the Limousin breed at various cattle events , sales , shows and other activities throughout the region . Breeders are encouraged to use him as a resource on the NALF programs and services or for help locating Limousin and Lim-Flex ® seedstock . He will also be available to advise producers on marketing through NALF , including advertising in LIMOUSIN TODAY ® and NALF digital platforms .

Nathan was born and raised on a mixed livestock and crop farm in south central Kansas near Pratt . Nathan was active in 4-H and enjoyed working outdoors on the family farm throughout high school . This love for agriculture drove Nathan to attend Kansas State University majoring in Animal Science with emphasis in production management . While at Kansas State , Nathan served on the College of Agriculture Student Council and was very active in the Block and Bridle program . Internships while at Kansas State included time with the Superior Lamb Corporation , Denver , Colo . Specifically his time was spent working in the marketing and procurement departments . While
