2017 Limousin Breed Market Summary Report
2017 Limousin Breed Market Summary
Cattle markets for the 2017 year exceeded most
cattle price expectations, on average. Prices stayed
near or above the 2016 year, which was a very
positive sign for the cattle industry as we headed
into the 2018 calendar year. Demand for Limousin
and Lim-Flex® bulls and females remains strong as
we have seen an increase in private treaty sales.
