I 52 | SEPTEMBER 2017 Jordan grew up in Logan, Iowa with her parents, Jay and Lori, and siblings, Jamie, Jenelle, and Jackson. She loved to show cattle and you could always find her with a smile on her face in the barn. A few years Jordan Straight Muxfeldt ago, she began raising and showing Miniature Australian Shepherds and was influential in starting the Iowa Miniature Australian Shepherd Association. Jordan was selected as the National Junior Limousin Show Champion Senior Showman in 2010 and the National Western Stock Show Limousin Herdsman of the Year in 2014. Jordan received this honor because of her continuous support of the junior program. She never missed a Heartland Regional Show or a junior national show and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jordan mentored several juniors still active in the association today. Jordan and her twins, Whitley Leah and Waylon Jay, were welcomed into God’s loving arms on March 14, 2016, as the result of an accident in rural Logan, Iowa. Jordan was 27 years old. I
