Thanks also to those who gave up their time to put together interesting demos and courses. Last but not least, hats off to the wonderful curating team: Henriette van der Does, Diana Roles and Laura Caratto who delivered a professional, slick and beautiful exhibition.

During the show, a small marquee and much higher footfall meant that the café space was much more convivial and became quite a feature: people returning to have a cream tea or coffee and hang out with their friends.

From an organisational viewpoint, SSS took full control, improving steward training and briefing and the general running of the event. All in all the show was very much appreciated by all who attended.

A big thank-you goes to Lynda Lawrence, our communications adviser, for organising a highly successful PR campaign alongside SHE. Wide coverage was achieved in a long list of local and regional publications. As a result, footfall was up 25% from last year.

Thanks also goes to all SSS members who made the show happen: to the sculptors who doubled up as efficient and charming stewards and put up with torrential rain on outside set up day!
