The Sculpture Trail at Birtley Estate

REPORT

SSS was invited by Surrey Hills Enterprises (SHE) to design and manage the sculpture garden at Birtley Estate for the second year running. A total of 50 artists participated with a beautiful selection of 178 inside and outside works.

The number of sales increased this year to 84 pieces. The value of sales dropped slightly, however, due mainly to clients purchasing less expensive items and possibly to the fact that the show ran for one week less.

The Private View was a big success with over 300 people in attendance and a good buzz. It was opened by Michael More-Molyneux, Lord Lieutenant of Surrey. There were several journalists in attendance and 17 pieces of work were sold.
