But it is her role as Founder and Owner of Abundance Art LLC—and her talents as an Artist and Writer—that she most identifies with today. “I discovered my inner artist during extensive and intensive trauma recovery therapy in 2011,” she explains. Later, in 2012, she was living and work- ing in the Middle East, journaling/illustrating and painting in her free time, as well as continuing her trauma recovery journey. During this time, she recognized her strong desire to shift away from Clin- ical Informatics and into a creative career. “It was an internal calling, a longing deep within me,” Ms. Hadley recounts. In 2014, she founded Abundance Art. “My respon- sibilities are to live abundantly every day by nourishing the world with what nourishes me,” she said. “I create, market and sell my products and services.” Ms. Hadley believes her expansive healthcare and technical/informatics background and ability to ask for and receive the support of others enabled her to create “a strong and scalable creative business foundation.” Ms. Hadley expresses herself through her art, including painting, illustrating and photography, Moving forward, Ms. Hadley plans to write and publish more books, grow her business, expand her social media reach, and market and sell her art both nationally and internationally. “I’d love to have one of my paintings hanging in the Tate Modern in London!” she said. Taking on speaking engagements to educate others on the healing power of creativity, she also envi- sions starting a foundation to help others overcome trauma. “On the lighter side, Maitri will publish her Memweowr. And see where she goes from there...” Annette adds: “I’ve been blessed to live and work in three countries in ten years, traveling to over thirty countries as well. Wherever I go, I love to capture the beauty found in people, nature and architecture. Each country and culture offers unique flavors, colors and shapes that evoke a richness and diversity of life. I especially delight in the treasures found in the simplest places, just by looking up, down, and around. My photo collec- tions provide a constant visual journal of my travels that allows me to go back again and again.” Annette Hadley Founder/Owner Abundance Art LLC www.abundanceart.com
