House System

The house system is a great way to become friends with people from different grades. It is also a great way to get people active with field events and to get the people that normally don’t play sports to get excited about field day and give their best effort. The house system works where if your older sibling was for example, in Valor then you would be in Valor to prevent fights at home. The house assemblies are arranged where you play a fun game or activity with your house “family” which has 2 eight graders, 2 seventh graders, 2 sixth graders, and 2 fifth graders in every “family”. This allows kids to gain friends from different grades. The house system also encourages kids to behave better by awarding kids with A.O.K points which stands for Act of Kindness which gives your house one house point. It also punishes kids for acting bad, they will get a demerit which takes away one house point from your house. In all I think that the house system is a great thing for Randolph to have.

Here is a picture of one of the house assemblies.
