Foreign Languages

A foreign language is great to learn because when you go to foreign countries you can understand what the people are saying and communicate with them in case of emergency. In Spanish we start new subjects every month or so. In sixth grade we learn more everyday subjects or things that we can use in everyday speeches. We also learn more complicated Spanish words and subjects. We do many more projects and speeches in sixth grade than we do in fifth grade. This year we learned about ordering and serving food. We also learned about clothing and how to say what you are wearing. We have also learned many other things that will help us speak more fluently in the future. The Spanish teachers (Mr. Ortiz and Mrs. Marrero) make learning serious, but exciting. I think that the foreign language classes are great, and help us understand people from different countries.
