are the same every year,” said Massapequa varsity football
coach Kevin Shippos, “We want to win the Nassau County
Championship and the Long Island Championship.”

year, Massapequa lost to Farmingdale in the Nassau County
semifinals, but they are looking to come back this year and
go even farther. Nassau County’s Conference one is always
tough, and there are a number of teams that can claim the
title. “There are a lot of good teams in our conference,”
Shippos said, “There isn’t one stand out team and that’s
what makes our Conference exciting to watch and coach
in.”
