The Big Bad Feminist
I was talking to my mom and brother once, and my brother said something stupid about how all women are bad drivers or something. It wasn’t really a big deal I barely even noticed the comment, but my mom said, “watch out we’ve got a feminist in our house now”. Uh Mom, are you not a feminist??? whatever moving on... My brother looked at me with slight disgust and said, “Ali, PLEASE don’t call yourself a feminist.” Naturally I thought to myself well, what the actual HECK is this. I said to him, “Considering I believe men and women are equal that means I’m a feminist and I hope you share this view...” He responds, “Of course I believe men and women are equal”.
