A very curious boy whose name was Marcus lived in a tiny town. He had short brown hair, brown eyes and freckles on his cheeks. He always wore a pocket watch which was a gift from his father on Marcus's ninth birthday. The gift was very special to him because his father left immediately after the birthday party. Daddy left for war and never came back. That watch was the only and the most important accessory he ever had and reminded him of his father.

Marcus was the only person in the town who had an interesting hobby. He couldn‘t live without his telescope because he loved to investigate the sky. Every day he set his alarm clock at midnight just to take his telescope near the window and watch the sky. He would forget everything and hoped to find his daddy‘s star. At other nights in his imagination he would draw magic connections between stars to create his father‘s image.

One day, when he was looking at the stars, he noticed something unusual, something that made him shiver. It looked like an uninhabited planet. It was as grey as lead. That planet was so interesting to him that he couldn‘t take his eyes off the telescope.
