When David slowly opened his eyes, he saw many colourful decorations, Christmas trees with bright lights, loads of different gifts packed in red sacks, hard-working elves and reindeers impatiently waiting outside. Everyone was so busy working that nobody paid any attention to David except one little funny elf. The elf, with a friendly grin on his face, quickly approached the amazed boy. He warmly welcomed David to Santa’s workshop and treated him with a heap of hot chocolate cookies and fresh milk. The elf carefully asked David if he had any idea why he was brought to Lapland. David felt so astonished that he only slowly shook his head. Then the elf explained to David that their task was to help him to believe in Christmas again and kindly invited to meet Santa himself. David was too surprised to answer or ask anything, he only slightly nodded his head in agreement.
