As soon as we arrived at the public library, the computers were all shut down except for one but a young boy had already occupied it. Ismail slowly walked to him, put his big hand on his shoulder, looked him straight in the eyes and asked, “May we take a seat?” The poor boy gasped, gathered his belongings, jumped off his chair and ran away. Even I was scared of that look Ismail gave to that boy. He sat down quickly. Then he looked at me and said, “Can you cover me and make sure no one’s watching us?” I nodded and leaned on his back.
