“I had played soccer before, and it’s always just been busy with kids and work,”
Teresa explains. “I turned the big 3-0 last year, so it all kind of added up when my
co-worker invited me out since he knew I was looking for a place to play.”
Since there is just one game per week, the commitment is minimal in SOFA,
without the pressures of team practices and a packed schedule all year.
“This has been a great Sunday league, which really works since there’s still the
competitive edge I like, but it’s still doable for those who aren’t in shape,” Teresa
says.
