Jeremy Franchuk
Born and raised in Alberta, Jeremy moved to Lethbridge in 2016 after nearly
a decade away from the prairies. With a background in journalism and
public relations, Jeremy is using freelance writing to get to know his new
community and the stories of the people who live here. He is an avid home
cook, long-time music fan, shinny hockey player, and long-suffering fan of
the Edmonton Oilers.
Tyler Stewart
With a background in music, journalism, and museums, Tyler
has too much creative energy for his own good. After bouncing
across the country playing music for most of a decade, he landed
in the University of Lethbridge Fine Arts Department, which led
to work managing exhibitions with the Southern Alberta Art
Gallery and the National Music Centre in Calgary. Over the years
he has always kept one foot in the world of freelance writing,
penning articles on a variety of topics that grab his interest,
and he continues to work on independent curatorial and music
projects during the spare moments in between.
Karen Alm
Karen was born and raised in Southern Alberta, and has
spent most of her adult life in Lethbridge. In 2001, because
of her extensive print media experience and knowledge,
Karen was brought on board as part of the design and
layout team of Lethbridge living. In addition, she operates
Just Call Marketing and Graphics, which provides services
for all your design and print requirements. In her free
time, Karen enjoys listening to the birds sing, basking in
the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, and hanging out with
Cooper, her horse, and her cats Bob and Spice.
