Prairie Days Holiday festivities
Prairie Days is a well-attended summertime
event featuring contests, games, food, and live
music. In 2019, the celebration is set for June 22
at the 2nd Avenue park.
There is a co-ed softball tournament planned
for the event, as well as a 3-on-3 basketball
tournament being put on by the Lester Prairie
boys basketball team.
The Prairie Days committee is always
looking for commodore and grand marshal
nominees. For more information, go to www.

Carlson at 320-613-6022. Before Christmas each year, children enjoy
visits with Santa Claus. The Lester Prairie Business
Association sponsors the event, and the Lester
Prairie Lions Club supplies goodie bags for the
children.
Garage Sale Day
Garage Sale Day in Lester Prairie
has been a tradition since 1979. The
event takes place the third Saturday in
September, with 80 to 100 sales in the area, and
