Capture LSR Photo Contest
Earlier this year, the MD invited residents to capture the best of Lesser Slave River
through their lenses. The results, shown on these pages, are as stunning and diverse as
can be expected of a place as uniquely beautiful as our boreal region. The MD would like
to especially thank Toby Spitzer, Shelby Lynn, Dale Johnston, Edith Johnston, Wendy Ey,
Zaphira Ey, and Debra Kay for their gracious contributions of time and energy toward
making our contest such a success!

Regardless of the season, opportunities to capture amazing shots of the people, places
and things across the MD are everywhere. Thanks to all participants for sharing their take
on what makes Lesser Slave River an exceptional place in which to live, work and play.
Remember that on Instagram, you can use hashtags to let people find and share your
photos. All Instagram images are public by default, so if you use #explorelsr when you
share your pics, we’ll post them on our new municipal website for all the world to see.
