Halloween can be a fun me for the en re
family. To make sure that you have lots of
treats and no unhappy tricks, follow these
safety guidelines:
• Walk safely: remember to use crosswalks,
traffic signals, and s ck to sidewalks as
much as possible.
• Children under 12 should not go trick or
trea ng alone. Parents or a trusted adult
should be with them. Older kids should go
in groups.
• Incorporate reflec ve tape or s ckers on
costumes to make li le ghouls easier to
spot.
• Make sure costumes are sized properly
and do not have any trip hazards.
• Remind kids to never enter a stranger’s
house or accept a ride from someone they
do not know.
• Remind kids to bring their treats home for
you to inspect before they eat it. Pack
them a goodie bag of candy from home for
them to munch on un l you check out
their haul.

very happy and safe Halloween!
