OTHER REQUESTS: GL ADES WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILIT Y - $1.08M INCLUDES A 4 0% MATCH FROM THE CIT Y This project will create an opportunity to supply 4.5 million gallons per day of reuse quality irrigation water to the growing southwestern park of the City of Port St. Lucie. RECREATION -$200,000 The Cit y also suppor ts Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) funding that provides state funds for the acquisition or development of lands for public outdoor recreational use. Por t St. Lucie is seeking $200,000 in FRDAP development funding for Winterlakes Park. SAGAMORE BASIN STORMWATER TREATMENT AREAS - $945K This project will help reduce stormwater pollutants via the construction of stormwater treatment areas. HISTORIC PRESERVATION - $200K This request would help complete interior stabilization and major restoration work to the recently relocated 1917 Peacock House and 1952 Lodge. With suppor t of state funding, the structures were recently relocated to a cit y owned park along the Nor th Fork of the St. Lucie River. The structures were originally owned by the Peacock family of Saint Lucie Count y that were involved in ranching and agriculture. www.CityofPSL.com/Legislative
