The University of Miami is proud to recognize and applaud the
Top Black Educators in South Florida for 2015, including three
distinguished members of our faculty who are dedicated to the
mission to help transform lives and improve their communities:
Marie D. Gervais, M.D., Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the
Miller School of Medicine; Osamudia James, Professor of Law at the
School of Law; and Teshamae Monteith, M.D., Assistant Professor of
Clinical Neurology at the Miller School of Medicine.
The University of Miami is also appreciative of our strong partnership
with Legacy Magazine and we join with it in congratulating these
outstanding individuals.
