The Creative Media & Innovation (Central Media) team will soon be moving to the new David
Hockney building.
To ensure we are able to complete the move and have the new area up and running ready for
the September start of term, from Friday 23rd May 2014 we will close down some of the
services the team offers:

We will honour all existing studio, edit suite, event and equipment bookings up to
4th July 2014.
·
A reduced amount of media equipment will be available to book on the online system.
·
The TV Studio and Edit Suite will be closed to new bookings from 23rd May 2014.
·
Creative Media services will not be available from 7th July 2014 until the start of the next
academic year – we will still access emails on a regular basis and will be able to deal with
requests and bookings for the next term and year, please be aware that there may be a delay
in responding to emails.
Our priority for the remainder of the year continues to be the provision of a Creative Media
Service for students and staff, we are aware that the withdrawal of service may cause some
issues for you and your teams.
If you plan to use the Creative Media & Innovation service between 23rd May and 4th July, and
have not already booked the service required, please would you contact us by Tuesday 20th May
2014 at the latest, to discuss the level of support we can offer you.
