oans L Advanced Learner Advanced learner loans are available for anyone aged 19 or over. They are designed to fund study for qualifications at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. We will advise you of the qualifications available. Learning loans are similar to University Degree loans. Will I be eligible for a loan? Most people over 19 will be eligible for a loan. Your household income will not be taken into account and there is no credit check to complete. You need to have lived in the UK for 3 years or over. You will begin paying back your loan if or when you are earning £21,000 per year.
