Family Snowshoe
with Ice Luminaries
Enjoy the trails of Oakdale Nature
Preserve at night with the moon and
stars overhead. One trail will be lit
with ice luminaries to follow through
the woods, but you can enjoy the
whole park. Gather by the bonfire
for ghost stories, hot chocolate, and
roasted marshmallows afterward.
Fee includes snowshoes, but you
can also bring your own. When
registering, indicate if you will need
snowshoes and either adult or youth

School for a full day of hands-on fun
that prepares you for

adventure. Outward
Bound instructors

techniques for
successful outdoor
living and travel.
Learn to start a fire,
cook like a Voyageur,
pitch a tent, portage a canoe and
navigate by map and compass. This
day is designed for kids ages 10
