Aquatics Volunteer Opportunity: Help Children with Disabilities Learn to Swim Learn to Swim this Spring! Volunteer one-to-one with a child in the pool to help him/her develop confidence in the water and learn basic swimming skills. A certified instructor plans and leads our group classes, which are held at John Glenn Middle School and run for six weeks on Tuesday evenings. There are two classes each night. Volunteers can help at one or both classes. First time volunteers must attend a training class. Registration for spring swim lessons opens on January 28. Spring lessons begin March 23. A class schedule will be posted online and emailed to those who have previously enrolled in lessons. ses.
