NEW! Bengala Dye
Bengala dyes are natural,
environmentally safe Japanese dyes
made from soil. Learn about the
history and cultural significance of
this unique dye as you use it to color
a t-shirt, scarf, shawl or bag. You will
experience the entire process from
pre-fixing your item to kneading the
dye into the material. There will be
12 colors of dye for you to choose
from. Instructor Chiaki O'Brien is one
of only two Bengala dye instructors
in the U.S. A materials fee of $7–16
(depending on the item you choose)
is payable to instructor. You may
dye more than one item during
class for an additional materials fee.
Bring plastic bags to take home your
project, a large towel that you don't
mind getting dye on, and a small
hand towel. You may also bring an
apron and gloves if you wish.

NEW SAORI Free-Style
Weaving
The word SAORI is translated as
"weave thyself" or express yourself
through weaving. Express yourself
while creating an original scarf or
table runner using this contemporary
hand weaving style founded in 1968.
Looms and cotton and wool thread
provided. Just bring a willingness to

Wet-on-Wet Oil Painting
Do you remember Bob Ross' Joy of Painting series on PBS? This “wet-
on-wet technique” of painting is for all skill levels as well as for those
who have never painted before. A certified Bob Ross instructor will lead
you step by step as you complete an entire oil painting in class. Discover
your inner artist or just learn a new technique! Register for all six classes
and take advantage of a discounted rate. A supply fee of $15 per class is
