Bring Star Wars inspired inventions
to life with the Star Wars Lego
Mindstorms Robotics Developer kit.
We will start with a simple droid
mechanism and then move on to
more ambitious droids that move
and walk. We will experiment with
robotic programs that avoid light,
seek light, and are controlled by
lights, act as alarms and more!

This training is designed
to provide youth who are
planning to babysit with
the knowledge and skills necessary
to safely and responsibly care for
children and infants. Students will
develop leadership skills; learn how
to develop a babysitting business,
learn to keep themselves and others
safe and help children behave; and
learn about basic child care and basic
first aid. Please bring a bag lunch.

Skateboard Art Seminar
Grades 6–12
Do rad things–participate in a
skateboard art experience with
artist Mark Rivard. Hear Rivard's
inspirational story of becoming a
professional artist and learn his
artistic techniques. Create an original
work of art on an actual skateboard
using Sharpie markers. Participants
will take home their skateboard
(deck only, not full skateboard) and
Sharpies.

Afton Alps
Grades 6–8
Spend the day on the
slopes at Afton Alps! No
need to worry about snow
levels, the park makes
their own! The class
fee includes a lift ticket,
ski rental, introductory
lesson and transportation to and
from the park. All experience levels
are welcome (more experienced
students may opt to test out of the
intro lesson). Students will need to
provide a lunch.

Designer–Dungeons

We'll turn Minecraft from a game
into a visual learning tool! Students
will work in pairs to learn basic game
design skills while collaborating to
build dungeons and adventure maps.
This class has a strong emphasis
on creativity, exploration, problem
solving and cooperative learning
experiences.
