A en on parents, school staff, coaches and youth
workers: learn the basic first aid skills needed to help
a young person who is experiencing a mental health
problem or crisis. This course is aimed at improving
mental health literacy. Understanding and recognizing
the signs that someone is in need of help is the first
step in ge ng that person appropriate care and
treatment. You will receive a course manual and a
cer ficate of course comple on. Please bring a bag
lunch to class. This free 8 hour workshop is offered by
NAMI Minnesota (Na onal Alliance on Mental Illness).
