Confirmation
Confirmation is by email only. You
will be notified when a class is filled,
cancelled, or rescheduled. Credit
card payments will appear on your
statement as “ISD 622 Community Ed.”
Cancellations/Refunds
North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale
Community Education reserves
the right to cancel classes due to
lack of enrollment or in the event
of emergencies. The option to
transfer to another class will be
given or a refund/credit will be
issued. Cancellation requests must
be made one week prior to the start
of the class or by the registration
deadline indicated. No refunds will
be given after a class has started.
A processing fee per class will be
deducted from your refund. Class
supplies or tickets that have been
purchased or committed to are non-
refundable regardless of cancellation
date. Refunds/credits cannot be given
for forgotten classes - please mark
your calendar and remind your child
about class dates. Trips and tours
have specific refund policies listed
with the description or itinerary.
No refunds will be issued after the
specified date.
Closings Due to Weather
Classes are not held when school
is closed due to weather. In case of
bad weather, tune in to local radio/
television stations, or check the
district’s website at www.isd622.org
for the most current updates.
Youth Drop-off/Pick-up
Parents/guardians must sign children
in and out for non-school day
programs. For after school classes,
please indicate on the registration
form what your child will do after
class, and who is authorized to pick
them up.
Participation Disclaimer
There is an inherent risk of accident
or injury in any activity. It is the
responsibility of the parent/
participant to be aware that there
are assumed risks in participation.
ISD 622 assumes no responsibility for
injuries received during activities. A ny
changes in participant’s activity level
should be done under approval and
direction of their physician and/or
health care provider(s).
Emergency
Program staff will take whatever
emergency measures are judged
necessary for the care and
protection of the participant while
under their supervision. In case of
an emergency, the participant will
be transported to an appropriate
medical facility by the local
emergency unit for treatment, if the
local emergency resources deem it
necessary. It is understood that in
some medical situations the staff
will need to contact local emergency
resources before the parent/
guardian or emergency contact is
notified. Any expenses incurred
will be the responsibility of the
participant/participant’s family.
UCare
UCare members may be eligible
for a $15 discount on most Adult
Program classes. If a class is less than
$15, you may take the class free of
charge, but you must register. UCare
for Seniors members are limited to
one $15 discount per calendar year.
Members must be on UCare at the
time of registration, and through
the duration of the class(es). Include
UCare ID number when registering.
Not available for online registration.
