Try a New Fitness Class on Us
Take this opportunity to "try on" some of the fitness classes at no charge and see if it's right for you. If you like
it, register for the full class session which begins the following week. Registration is required for the FREE Try-it
classes, even for current participants. Note: only specific classes have the Free Try-it session available.
Essentrics®
Tone muscles, increase flexibility, decrease joint pain, and improve posture
with this dynamic, full-body strengthening and stretching exercise program.
Developed by former national Canadian ballerina, Miranda Esmonde-White,
Essentrics® combines the strengthening theories behind ballet which create
long, lean, flexible muscles, and the flowing movements of Tai Chi which
create health and balance. Wear comfortable clothing, bring an exercise mat,
water and 1-2 medium sized hand towels to class. Essentrics® is practiced

gentle, flowing movements of this
full body workout designed for
seniors. Essentrics® combines the

standing and floor work though
all movements, including those on
the floor, may be modified so it is
not necessary to be on the floor.
