VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS Organize Your Photos Iris Paper Folding Learn the art of Iris paper folding which originated in Holland. Early crafters used patterned paper cut from the inside of envelopes. Today lightweight craft paper or wrapping paper is used to make the spiral layered designs that resemble the iris of a camera lens, hence the name. Your finished project can be framed, used for the front of greeting cards or to embellish scrapbook pages. During class you will make one greeting card and leave with the materials to make a second card so you can practice on your own. Supply fee of $5.00 is payable to the instructor at class.
