Nancy McKiernan, Baptist Health Nursing &
Rehabilitation Center
Nancy is currently a marketing associate at
Baptist Health. Her lifelong interests in art,
science and people led her to study art education
and also become a certified physical therapist
assistant. She is an advocate of including art in
programs for people of all ages, helping them
discover their hidden talents. She recognizes the
value of art as a means of healing and tapping
into memories. She enjoys drawing, painting,
printmaking and doing freelance graphic design.

Brigid Rockwell is activities director at Shaker
Pointe at Carondelet. A seasoned director of
activities in the health care industry, she taught
painting and pottery at the Arts Center of the
Capital Region and Catholic Charities before
beginning work in activities programming for

seniors in 2010, first at The Eddy Memorial as
an activities coordinator, The Pines National
Healthcare’s Assisted Living as activities director

enjoys painting and pottery.
