There is a clue in the title to what this article is about.
Let’s explore these two words. Pro-Social and leadership.
Firstly, let me provide some context. I really wanted
to know what drives people to act on their intentions.
That’s where all this started. For some time this question
rode around in my brain, seeking some real tangible
answers. Then, having to find a question for my masters
of coaching research I decided to throw this around,
and it stuck!
by a concern about the rights, feelings and welfare
of other people. Behaviours that can be described as
pro-social include feeling empathy and concern for others
and behaving in ways to help or benefit other people.’

Interestingly, I presented three different definitions to
the participant group during the research interviews and
the above definition resonated the most. In the group,
