however, the timing was not right for her
to leave her salaried day job. “Leaving
the company was not an option at that
point. While the income paid our bills,
the job was draining me. I felt pulled in
two different directions and the internal
conflict began to break me down.”
Leveraging the joy she found in sharing
dōTERRA products, Ellie developed a
routine to help her achieve balance in
her life. For two and a half years she
held herself accountable for small, daily
tasks, believing that they would yield
long-term success. Ellie’s consistency
paid off. With her business growing,
she knew it was finally time to quit her
account management job.

The key is to keep in mind what your mission and purpose is.
From day one, I would reach out to two brand new people
every day about how oils could benefit and impact their lives.
Next I would follow up with those that I had already shared oils
or started a conversation with. I would also check in with at
least two people who had begun their oil journey to see if they
had any questions or feedback for me.
All of this could be done in about 30 minutes or less. I called
this my 2-2-2 strategy and with consistency it has made a huge
impact on my business.”
