Can you imagine how difficult it is to achieve any goal without patience and without a plan ? Taking up a new subject in school , making new friends , mastering an instrument , perfecting a curve ball or learning how to bunt all take a tremendous amount of patience and planning . Nothing in life worth having comes without both . There ’ s no short cut .
Consider what took place once the boys were discovered . The rescue effort : the enormity of it is hard to fathom . That ’ s the planning part . Experts were assembled from around the worlddiscussions and mock runs were made . It ’ s only in the movies where the hero appears to save the day in a very short period of time . Even under that controlled environment with highly skilled personnel who ’ d trained their entire professional careers for a moment like this- a life was lost .
Lastly these boys had to rely on each other . We call that teamwork . The old adage “ teamwork makes the dream work ” is true . Relying on your teammates to do their job , whether it ’ s in a classroom , a job , a relationship or an athletic team , no one person can carry the burden all the time . You have to learn to rely on others to do their jobs so that you can best do yours . There even has to be cooperation for your family unit to run efficiently .
