Poor sportsmanship, laziness, addiction, stealing, or lying may be examples of giants in some people’s minds that must be overcome. It is vitally important to eliminate the possibility of punishment because of trust and communication. It will not only help the team realize a more effective level of relating to one another, but it also helps to build the confidence of the child who might not be living in an ideal environment. And it simply may be that the child is just shy. Children don’t develop confidence at the same rate. Create an atmosphere of order on the field, during practice and at game time with your team. Order vs Chaos. Either your participation in something creates order or it creates chaos. There is no long term happiness in chaos. The only way to have sustained joy is through order. There will always be adversity and periods of regression in any activity that includes groups of people. There’s going to be someone who’s not going to follow the program. This is part of group dynamics. No matter what you do or say, people are going to fall short of the goal. This program is designed to address these issues and to make sure you won’t be one of them. You’re either part of the problem or part of the solution. 25
