Structuring practice has to involve more than drills and the mechanics of the game, time has to be allotted for questions and feedback. Ask open-ended questions. Remember- One of the ways to react positively to disappointment, anger and upset is to not be easily offended. One of the ways to work on not being easily offended goes back to the mind. When someone says or does something that you don’t like what is your reaction? It’s normal to have periods of regression when striving to do better. Just never give up! If you lose your temper don’t beat yourself up. You were born to win- the ability to win is built within. You have to settle your mind. When you behave negatively it’s because you’ve been offended and your emotional response may lead to physical violence as well. Remember that physical violence always starts out with a thought. Your choices stem from your mind: your brain and your body execute what your mind is thinking and feeling. 18
