About the submitter of the project in a nutshell:
Explore and promote culturally historical and
natural heritage of the Pāvilosta rural territory,
putting objects into order and placing signs
leading the way to the natural and culturally
historical objects of the rural territory.
Municipality of the Pāvilosta rural territory is the municipality institution that was developed on July 1, 2009. Merging rural territory of
Saka (that was comprised of the rural municipality of Saka and town
of Pāvilosta) and rural municipality of Vērgale the rural territory of
Pāvilosta was created. Administrative centre of the rural territory of
Pāvilosta is the town of Pāvilosta. Pāvilosta rural territory takes up
515 km2, but the border of the Baltic Sea with the rural territory of
Pāvilosta is 46 km. Number of inhabitants (declared persons) onto
25.08.2014 is 3004 persons.

Rural territory of Pāvilosta is rich in culturally historical and natural
heritage but it has not been sufficiently explored and promoted yet. Due
to the implementation of the project the following tourism signs were
created: 1. Tourism direction sign – signpost – big – 2 pieces. 2. Tourism
direction sign – sign post – small - 24 pieces. 3. Informative stand
with anti-graffiti covering - vertically (841mm x 1189 mm) 7 pieces. 4.
Informative stand with anti-graffiti covering - vertically (1189mm x
1642 mm) 10 pieces. 5. Informative maps stand with anti-graffiti covering (1189mm x 1642 mm) 5 pieces. Information about the nature and
cultural objects were placed in every populated area in the rural territory
of Pāvilosta where the nature and culturally historical objects are
located: in Pāvilosta, Saraiķi, Vērgale and Ziemupe. Also five big stands
with the general tourism information of the Pāvilosta rural territory were
developed and placed. Side notes planned in the project was placed on
the municipality land, as well as with the approval of the Latvian State
roads, Tourims Development State Agency and other institutions.
