About the submitter of the project in a nutshell:
Society F.F.K. LIVONIJA operates already since November 8,
2007. Currently two training groups operate in the society –
for youngsters and adults. In total 43 participants, of which 27
are up to 18 years old. Society regularly participates in Latvian
championships for youth U16 (boys), Kurzeme Floor-Ball League, Open contest of Saldu rural territory. Board of the society
consists of the Chairman of the Board and two Members of
the Board. Society acts accordingly to the approved Articles of
Association aiming to promote floor-ball as an active lifestyle
and attract people of various ages to sports activities.
Project description:
Floor-ball is a team sports played in premises with plastic sticks
and a ball. Game is carried out in 2 teams, 6 players in each
team, one of which is a goal-keeper. To successfully continue
activities of the society by organising trainings and participating in contests, new inventory was purchased within the framework of the project. New uniforms were purchased for 40
participants, sports apparel and inventory – floor-ball gates
and boards of the field. After the implementation of the project members of the society are willing to attract even more
participants to the active and athletic lifestyle in Aizpute rural
territory. The implemented project will give a chance to organise floor-ball games with appropriate and certified inventory.
