About the submitter of the project in a nutshell:
Municipality of the rural territory of Pāvilosta is a municipality institution that
was established on 1 July, 2009. A rural territory of Pāvilosta was developed
combining the rural territory of Saka (that consisted from the rural
municipality of Saka and town of Pāvilosta) and rural municipality of
Vērgale. Town of Pāvilosta is the administrative centre of the rural territory.
Rural territory of Pāvilosta comprises 515 km2, but border with the Baltic
sea of the rural territory of Pāvilosta is 46 km. Number of inhabitants (declared
persons) on to 25.08.2014 is 3004.

Ploce is a village that was created and developed due to the peat bog and is
located in the surrounding territory of the rural territory of Pāvilosta, closer
to Liepāja, besides the highway Ventspils- Liepāja. 320 inhabitants reside in
Ploce. Locals did not have possibilities to spend their free time valuably, get
together and recreate. Here we have a “Soviet period” club with no heating as
the old central heating boiler is broken and can not be used anymore. Main
precondition for the maintaining and functioning of the building is arranging
of the heating system. Municipality of Pāvilosta rural territory listened to the
recommendations of locals and within the frameworks of the project replaced
the central heating boiler and arranged heating system, as well as created room
where locals could spend their free time.
Within the frameworks of the project all necessary inventory for leisure time
spending was acquired – tennis table with equipment, game set with equipment where the novus table, table-hockey, darts set were included, as well as
weightlifting balls were purchased. Inventory was acquired with the purpose for
the locals to get together for various joint activities and spend their free time
