Eyre was planning to direct Jon Robin Baitz's stage adaptation of
Hollywood legend Robert Evans' memoirs The Kid Stays in the
Picture and its sequel, The Fat Lady Sang, but the project was
cancelled by the producer.
His production of Noël Coward's Private Lives starring Kim Cattrall
and Paul Gross opened on Broadway in November 2011 following a
run in Toronto. He directed The Dark Earth and The Light Sky for the
Almeida, and The Pajama Game for the Chichester Festival Theatre.

A look through my window curtains late at night can be both
entertaining and fearsome some times. On rainy nights it’s terrifying
and thunderous since I can easily see the dark sky flashed in rays of
orange and blue lightning bolts. On these nights I can only glimpse at
the sky briefly and then quickly dive back into my warm blanket.
However on non rainy days at night through my window is
awesomely calm and quite except for the constant flow of cars on
