Her nonfiction covers a wide range of topics, including belonging, identity, gender, mental ghettoes, daily life politics, multicultural literature and the art of coexistence. These essays have been collected in three books, Med-Cezir (2005), Firarperest (2010), Şemspare (2012). She also writes lyrics for rock musicians in her country. She lives with her husband and two children and divides her time between Istanbul and London. SIR RICHARD CHARLES HASTINGS EYRE CBE (born 28 March 1943) is an English film, theatre, television and opera director. Born in Barnstaple, Devon, England, Eyre was educated at Sherborne School, an independent school for boys in the market town of Sherborne in north-west Dorset in south-west En gland, followed by Peterhouse at the University of Cambridge. Eyre became the first president of Rose Bruford College in July 2010.
