Nonetheless, out of all of these I identify our eyes as imparting the deepest love connection. In most of our songs, poetry
and novels we focus on the love between two people. We centre upon how much we love that one special person. I know
the feeling of this love well. It too is a part of who I am. I was and am simply in love. Yet there is nothing simple about
love, but on the other hand, nothing simpler.
It has been said that to love anyone you must first learn to
love yourself. I have heard this many times, but it is true? I
believe it is and my logic is straightforward. Until you love
yourself how can you totally love anybody else? If you are
self-loathing you will never accept you are worthy for another.
If you are not worthy, how can you fully extend your love
when you do not have it within you to give. You are
emotionally attached, but not much more. For any love
relationship to work smoothly, you need to love yourself.
