discovered was that most people found it difficult to accept that it was okay to want to feel joy in all areas of their lives . Their response wasn ? t surprising , given that they grew up watching their parents work for money , not for fulfillment .
2 . The purpose of your life is to feel joy .
When I asked people to share their life ? s purpose most said that they wanted ? to be ? something or ? do ? something ? be a doctor , an artist , a teacher , to construct things , to serve others , to work with their hands , etc .
3 . Your objective is to create strategies to get your fulfillment needs met so you can feel joy in every part of your life .
Specific needs , when we get them met , bring us joy . These needs fulfill us ; hence the term " fulfillment needs .? While the ambitions listed under # 2 may seem to describe one ? s life purpose , they ? re actually strategies that people can use to
