Passive Income Coach, I've taught people how to develop passive income. All the activity is generally at the beginning where you are building your network. You've heard the saying "if you pay now you get to play later," or "if you play now you have to pay later." I'm going to add with interest on each of those. "You have to pay with interest." The truth of the matter, is as all of us do have lives that have difficulties in them as part of being human. There are things that we must know, learn and grow with, in order to expand who we are and expand what we have. Ultimately, wealth enriches our lives and holding back even our greatest success by saying... "You know, I'm going to have to work harder and I'm going to have to juggle more and I'm going to learn more it's more complicated." You're actually denying yourself of an abundant life by choosing to play small. Everything in our life has always taken an effort to learn. Think of the first time you rode a bike or tied your shoes or walked. Eventually, it became very, very easy. Well, you have to do the same thing with wealth. Let's take this idea of being rich and said, "oh it's too difficult!" Well that's like denying yourself the ability of tying your shoes. There's no doors that are going to be cut off from you. You're always going to have to either wear flip flops or some kind of shoe without laces, right? And so that really limits your possibilities for expression in yourself. In fact I like to tell people that without wealth, you limit your actual divine potential. There's doors that are going to be cut off from you because, let's face it, everything in life to some extent has an admission ticket. Now whether you want to go and climb Machu Picchu or you want to go spend time on a beach, here's an admission ticket that needs to be paid. And the more abundance that we have on our life, the more freedom that we have to just simply make the choices that lifts us and cause us to tap into our best brilliance. So whenever I hear somebody saying, "Oh, I don't want to be rich, I immediately call BS. The truth of the matter is its like saying, "Oh I don't want to experience life in the fullest. I don't want to get bigger. I don't want to expand who I am AND I don't want to tap into my potential. That's really what they're saying. Because if you think about what money is, it's simply energy. And if we are denied to having an abundance of energy in our life, we're just saying "I'm OK to play small." So how do you get beyond feeling that? You force yourself to. You monitor your thinking so that you can start thinking large! I think one of the things that I've noticed as I worked with people over the last two decades, is that sometimes what some people need isn't necessarily motivation. Instead, what some people actually need is momentum. In other words they need to see it occurring in real time so they begin to believe and experience and stretch into that experience. Remember the first time as a child that you went swimming? I don't know about you, but I remember standing at the side of the pool. It was kind of freaky and frightening and my first thought was, I don't know if I can do this! As a loving parent put me in the water, I still screamed and kick for a minute because I wasn't used to that. But as soon as I saw that this was O.K., I began to expand my abilities and as I got the momentum of being in the water, I could expand myself within the water. Now I love to swim! So I think that this is the same way with wealth with a lot of people. Many see a lot of what the media portrays as wealth to be meaning that it's either greed base or it's a tainted through corruption. Some see that wealth takes a lot of effort to maintain. There's more taxes involved . There's more responsibility. All of these things are actually not true. What I have found to be true is that as you grow into wealth, you also expand your capacity to be able to nurture more wealth in your lives. The other thing that I think is astonishing when it comes to the passive income part that I teach people, most people have this idea that it's all up to you. You've heard the saying "If it's meant to be, it's up to me." I think it's totally a crock. The truth of the matter is if it's meant to be, start a team. If it's meant to be, get partners and help support. You know, people say that your network is your net worth. I think one of the areas that they miss is that they think that means it's like a fishing net. Like, "if I have better friends I'm going to make more money because they're going to bring more money in." Well, that is true, and yet it's kind of NOT the truth. The way wealthy people understand this is that NETWORK is actually a safety net, meaning I can now solve bigger problems. This means I have resources and support to be able to manifest bigger solutions and I have more opportunities to to get involved in things that maybe before the rest of the public knows about it. I'm going to find out about these things because I am in something similar to a club and we all work together to build wealth. It's like climbing Mount Everest. No one's ever climbed it by themselves or no one has ever walked on the moon by themselves. Maybe one guy gets credit like Neil Armstrong, and yet we forget that there were all these people who built the rocket are sitting down at Houston, guiding it and protecting it. Page 36
