morning at 8am and that I shouldn?t waste time driving to a store farther away. Sound familiar? Our rational
minds do this often when something doesn?t make sense. Instead of surrendering to my rational mind, I
asked the CSO for another lead. I received intuitive thoughts that it would be beneficial to make the
15-minute drive, so I did. As I walked into the store, I recognized someone walking out who was a decision
maker for a potential large customer who I had not been able to reach for an appointment. We both
stopped and had a pleasant conversation. Before the end of the visit, I was invited to make a presentation
to his company while I was in town. Several more meetings followed and eventually we entered into a
contract worth more than $400,000. My CSO gave me a message that didn?t make sense; to drive across
town. As I followed the directions, it paid off.
3.Meet wit h your part ner every morning
To strengthen a relationship with your CSO
partner, you need to spend time together on a
regular basis. Meeting daily with your CSO will
help you to establish a close and trusting
relationship. As a result, you?ll notice more
often when the messaging that you receive is
from your CSO instead of random thoughts.
You?ll benefit from your growing relationship as
you achieve your goals sooner with seemingly
less of the work, since your new partner is doing
the heavy lifting.
