This practice will help you see through the eyes of a child again, revealing a new world for you to explore. Fol l ow your body?s cl ues. Feeling heaviness, tension and fatigue? Check in to see what thought patterns are playing in your head. Dis-empowering thoughts will never make your body feel expansive and light. Don?t over-ident if y wit h your t hought s. Though your thoughts have the power to shape your life, you are not your thoughts and beliefs. Keeping that in mind will make it easier for you to experiment with new ways of thinking. Keep inspiring company. Surround yourself with people who inspire and encourage you to learn, take responsibility and look at the bright side of things. Spend t ime in nat ure. Recalibrate your brain waves by slowing down and tuning in to the healing vibration of nature. Doing so reduces stress to your central nervous system, enabling you to focus your attention on more positive emotions. Creat e a l ist of goal s. Making a list of goals will help you focus on what you want in your life, rather than what you don?t want. Create a bucket list using words and images and post it in a visible place as a daily reminder. Pract ice! Old patterns are not easy to break. EXAMPLE SITUATION: I didn't get accepted into the college I wanted. NEGATIVE THINKING: I became angry and hurt. I felt like giving up and thought I would not get accepted into any program I applied to. REFRAMED: I accept the fact that sometimes things do not turn out the way I'd like.
