Reduce

He tries to reduce his thoughts to words. Burn the fat
examples. Trim the circular logic, reduced to a short, wavy
line on the page. All the splendor in his mind amounts to
nothing at all. Unless the gaudy excess of his thoughts was
the glory itself, and the glory is that it cannot be reduced
and poured forth from the mind. Or, it is just nothing, and
he thinks too much.
